Greg operates as the Group Chief Executive and an Executive Director on the Company’s Board. Greg pulled back from trading as Head of Crude at Onyx in early 2019 to focus on driving the company’s growth and strategic vision full-time. Greg holds a BEng in Biochemical Engineering from University College London.
Omar is an active trader, and oversees operations and expansion in our world-leading market-making operation. Omar also operates as Executive Director on the Company's Board. He holds an M.Sc. and a B.A. Hons. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
James started as a trader analyst at Onyx in 2022 and has worked in multiple avenues of the business' trading arm - most recently becoming a trader performance manager. Overseeing all aspects of trader life at Onyx from graduate recruitment to on desk development and performance. James holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
Alban leads Onyx's quantitative trading division and technology buildout. Prior to this, he established Onyx's first presence in the freight market. He holds an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and a BSc in Mathematics from the London School of Economics.
